Today is National Girlfriends Day 2022
Every woman has a story. We all have journeyed 1000 miles towards a better version of ourselves. We continue on this path knowing that there are bright stars along the way to help guide us. Today, I am taking a moment to appreciate and show gratitude for the women I call my friends. Without them my path would not have been as rich and vibrant as it is!
We see these smiles everywhere. I would like that we also see the resilience, strength and creativity that each of these smiles has struggled for, grabbed a hold of and forged a better life with.
Each of us is on our own journey. Yet, it is so good to know that when we are tired, in need of inspiration and a little push in the right direction, there is always a strong woman to help us set things straight and move us forward in a positive direction.
We are all so different, yet intrinsically we are all connected through our hearts and the desire to uplift each other. And that is the perfect thing to recognize in every smile we meet.
When the day comes and we find ourselves sitting in our solitude, I hope we will be thinking of all that has come before us, and of all that is yet to be. Mostly, I hope it we will sit with contentment in our collective hearts. Thank you to all my special girls today and always for loving me right where I’m at!
Stars shine brightly because of the nuclear reactions going on deep within their cores. Much like the reason fire gives off light, stars are extremely hot. So, shine on dear friends, shine on!

I have felt the same for you. I’m spending a lot of time with my mom here in La Jolla. We have early mornings in the organic gardens I’m growing. There is a lot of healing happening in those quiet moments. I’m also hearing the whispers of change in my life. I hope to connect with you very soon.
